• College application can be stressful. From finding the best-fit colleges to majors, from knowing what needs to get done to when and how to be ready for the deadlines, I provide both parents and students insight to map out the best strategies to make the college application process less stressful.

Here’re some ways I help students:

    • College list building

    • ED, EA, RD advising

    • Organizational templates to track application progress

    • Activity list/resume crafting to showcase strengths

    • Post-application support (interview prep, alumni contact, letters of continued interest)

  • College essays, particularly the personal statement, can be a deal-breaker in admissions decisions.

College essay coaching is my passion and forte.

I believe that everyone has an unique story to tell. My work is not simply editing for grammatical or structural bloopers in essays. I work with students one-on-one to discover their greatest strengths to showcase and improve their application portfolio.

I find much delight in working with my students to create an impactful story that stands out from the crowd. I love thinking about how to craft my students’ life stories, any life story, into a memorable reading experience for admissions readers.

  • No two students are the same. I get to know each of my students as unique individuals and customize my advice for each student’s course selection, extra curricular activities and career directions.
